This is a short introductory presentation to the mouse. It is designed for EYFS/KS1 children, although may be appropriate for older newcomers. Introduces how to click, drag and drop. I had planned to use the BBC WebWise Computer Basics website for children to then practise these skills. Please see my other tutorials on how to use Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Windows Explorer for kids. MS Paint tutorial is on the way... Thanks to mouseprogram.com for some of the content.

A simple assessment sheet to be carried out at the end of every half term or term to track progress across the ages and stages of development within the EYFS. Useful to track Profile achievement towards the ELGs, prior to June formal Profile assessments. I have attached an image of a completed page, with some comments added, as I did to summarise the Profile before completing reports. Very useful for team meetings and discussions with LA or SLT to show CPD/staffing needs as well as progress made. Please also see my Tracker spreadsheet!

A report to sum up the achieving profile scale points for each child. Useful to highlight teaching/learning areas of strength and weakness in the child. Also, section to mention any areas the child is not likely to achieve profile points due to SEN/EAL etc. Section for G&T/scale point 9s. I complete once a term to show child achievement, and then sum up in the class version. Useful to show EYFS Co if they want further details, without looking through the whole learning journey.
